Beltangady: A sad incident of a little boy dying of snakebite while playing in the yard at home has been reported from Nalkur near Aladandady in the taluk.
Samyak (4), son of Amaresh Joshi, was stung by an identified reptile on Tuesday. He was rushed to a private hospital nearby.
Since the case needed advanced treatment, he was being shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru. Sadly, he is said to have died on the way.
