Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology signs MoU with IIIT-Allahabad
Moodbidri: A memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) and Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), Mijar, Moodubidire, to work closely in research programs and exchange scholars and students.
The agreement was signed by Dr Shrishu Verma, Registrar IIIT, Allahabad and Alva’s Education Foundation® Managing Trustee Vivek Alva, in the presence of Dr P Nagbhushan, Director, IIIT, Allahabad and senior faculties of respective institutes at IIIT Allahabad campus recently.
The agreement covers key areas of possible collaborations- to promote education and scholarly exchange, collaboration and technical interchange between the parties involved as educational partners, exchange of materials in education and research, publications and academic information. Joint organization of workshops and conferences, seminars, short courses on developing coding skills, technical training, invited talks on latest research topics and faculty development programs.
The two institutes may also explore M.Tech/ Ph.D. joint research program on mutual agreement and be assisting in the conduction of coding and Hackathon contest.
On the occasion, Dr Verma and Mr Alva vowed to build on the collaboration and ‘’make sure that we end up with meaningful and concrete outcomes and results’’.
The formal exchange of MoU would formally take at Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar, on August 23, 2018, with the presence of Dr P Nagbhushan, Director, IIIT, Allahabad and Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman Dr M Mohan Alva.
The IIIT Allahabad, as an apex nucleating institute in the area of IT, is a major step of Govt. of India towards strengthening the indigenous capability necessary for exploiting profitably and harnessing multi-dimensional facets of IT at all levels, and attaining expertise to enable the country to emerge as a leading player in the global arena.
What a delightful news to read that Alva Institute has signed MOU with IIIT in Allahabad in pursuit of advancing the Educational disciplines in Mangalore that will take Alva Institute to a higher pedestal of Education.
This is truly a complement to Alva Institute for their forward looking nature in advancing their Educational qualities and provide better standards of Education to their young students. Given another ten years, Alva Institute will produce hundreds of Graduates as well as Phd’s who will bring name and fame for themselves and for their Educational Institution.
Mangalore will certainly rise to an astounding position over the years, and Alva Institute will gain all the momentum for being one of the major contributors in providing the best of faculty members to teach the young students with the best of Education.
