Development not Possible by Coalition Government – Rajnath Singh

Mangaluru: “In Karnataka state, development is not possible by the coalition government. The state government had assured to waive the farmers’ loan but has failed to do it soon. The coalition government is not keeping its promises” said the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during the BJP leaders convention at the Nehru Maidan here on March 9.

Addressing the gathering Rajnath Singh said, “It is the duty of the government to make the country economically and technologically strong. India is the 6th fastest growing country in the world. We have achieved 99% success in constructing toilets and soon our country will get the open defecation free status. In the interim budget, the government has announced to give financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to the farmers and the first installment of Rs 2000 will be credited to the farmers’ account. A yearly pension of Rs 3,000 for persons over 60 years of age working in the unorganised sector will be given. A separate department for fisheries has been set up for the benefit of the fishermen.”

Rajanath Singh further said, “After the Pulwama attack the decision taken by our country has been appreciated by the world leaders. The response to Pulwama attack, through airstrikes, is a warning to Pakistan that they should not support terrorism. But the opposition has doubts on the airstrikes and asking for the number of deaths in the airstrikes. Indian fighter jets entered Pakistan and carried out airstrikes against the militant training camps. We are committed to end terrorism and provide safety to the people of Kashmir.”

Rajnath Singh also criticised the coalition government in Karnataka and said, “From this Kichidi (coalition) government development isn’t possible. The coalition government did not fulfill its promises. In the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP will win with a majority in Karnataka. The people of Karnataka should vote for the BJP in all the 28 constituencies and strengthen PM Modi”, urged Rajanath.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Shobha Karandlaje, B S Yeddyurappa, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Vedavyas Kamath, Angara, Sunil Kumar, Sanjeev Matandoor and others were also present.

  1. I’m sure they are better than a Jumla Goberment run by the BJP. And you shouldn’t even be talking about development when BJP themselves have none to talk about except for the blaming of previous Governments right from JN to MMS.
