Mangaluru: MMS Activists Rescue 16-year-old girl forced in Flesh Trade

Mangaluru: A case has been filed against a man who forcibly engaged a 16-year-old girl into the flesh trade, in Kavoor Police Station here, on December 28.

According to sources, it is learnt that Prashanth Shetty was in love with Maya (name changed) from childhood. Prashanth even promised to marry Maya and gained her trust. Maya never thought that Prashanth would trick her and push her into flesh trade to earn money.

On December 27, Mangalore Mahila Shakti activists caught Maya along with 5 men at Kunjathbail. During police investigation, Maya revealed that she was forced into the flesh trade by Prashanth.

The Kavoor police have registered a case. Prashanth Shetty is now absconding and the search is on to arrest him.
