Mangaluru: Pravin Togadia Banned from entering city between January 18 to 24

Mangaluru: International Working President of VHP Praveen Togadia was issued a notice by the Mangaluru Police Commissionerate here on January 18.

Praveen Togadia has been barred from entering the city from January 18 to 24.

According to sources, Togadia has been prohibited from entering the city because of his previous provocative speeches. The notice has been issued under section 144(3)CrPC for a period of 7 days from January 18 to 24.

There was reliable information that Togadia would be attending meetings at the Sanghaniketan in Mangaluru on January 20. The prohibitory order was issued keeping in view his ability to make provocative speeches which can disturb the peace and tranquillity in the City.
