Plot to Murder – CCB Arrests Three in Moodbidri
Mangaluru: A police team led by city crime bureau (CCB) inspector Valentine D’Souza has arrested three persons from the city, while they were plotting to murder a prominent person near the Swaraj maidan in Moodbidri.
On receipt of reliable information that the trio was waiting in a white Omni car near the maidan with weapons and planning for murder on May 11 evening, the CCB team swooped on them and arrested them. The Omni car, three mobile phones, two machetes and a dragon knife were seized from them.
The three men are Subhash (23) from Jyotinagar Kavoor, Raviraj (29) from Kunjattabail and Nataraj aka Natu (25), also from Kunjattabail.
The case has been handed over to the Moodbidri police for further action.
