Two arrested for Harassing Asha Worker in Mallur

Mangaluru: Two persons have been arrested for harassing an Asha worker at Badriya Nagar, Mallur here on April 11.

The arrested have been identified as Ismail (45) and Ashraf (32) both from Badriya Nagar, Mallur.

According to the police, on April 11, an Asha worker Vansanti (45) was on official duty related to the health department on COVID-19. Ismail and Ashraf obstructed, threatened and prevented Vansanti from discharging her duty.

In this regard, an FIR was registered in Mangaluru Rural Police station under section 354, 353, 504, 506 IPC.

Based on the complaint both the accused have been arrested and further investigations are on.

  1. These are not isolated incidents, are they? We have seen from Delhi to Tamilnadu how a ‘single source’ is responsible for obstructing and spreading corona cases. How long will our politically correct groups (including media) ignore the direct correlation between these incidents and religious doctrine? Before calling me names, please spare a moment for the deadly consequences of this bad behavior. I would like to hear from my ‘rationalist’ friend who was too quick to lecture sanathana groups. Or, Is he going to act like actors in old silent movies?
