“DK to Close all Borders and Enforce Complete Lockdown from July 4”, News far from Truth – Dist Administration

Mangaluru: “The news that Dakshina Kannada district will close all its borders and enforce complete lockdown from July 4 midnight (Post SSLC Exams) is far from the truth”, has been clarified by the district administration on July 1.

Some miscreants are spreading misleading information that “DK district is closing all the borders and will enforce a complete lockdown from July 4 midnight. Anyone travelling in or out of DK, please plan your schedule accordingly”.

The district administration has clarified that the administration has not taken any such decision. It is fake news that is being circulated. The public should not give heed to such rumours.

  1. Jobless that few people are, who need some times pass. This is ridiculous seriously. Instilling fear among people, when we already have enough stress,anxiety and fear within us.
