Bajrang Dal to Campaign Nationwide against Chinese Goods – Sharan Pumpwell

Udupi: Bajrang Dal will launch a nationwide campaign on September 1 to motivate people to boycott Chinese goods said the zonal convener Sharan Pumpwell at a press meet held at the press club on Wednesday, August 23.

China is trying to disrupt India’s economic growth by dumping cheap Chinese products in our markets, which should be countered by using indigenous products. Chinese goods sell as they are cheaper than Indian goods. China has gained a lot since Indians buy Chinese goods and has become a strong country. China is supporting Pakistan in our fight against terrorism, it is supporting Pakistan which is a terrorist nation. We are appealing all Indians to boycott Chinese goods, especially during this festive season. Why should we allow Chinese products in India when that country is acting against our nation? Hence it is necessary to boycott Chinese products, he added.

The nationwide campaign is to raise awareness against using Chinese goods. The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM), an RSS-affiliate, claims that the campaign has received huge support. As a nationwide call, Bajrang Dal will launch a nationwide campaign on September 1 to motivate people to boycott Chinese goods. In Karnataka, BD units in every district will protest by burning the Chinese goods. We will try and create awareness to use Indian goods, which if used regularly, will, in the long run, generate employment for Indians and will be good for our economy, he said.

In recent years many Hindu girls are being lured to renounce their faith under a conspiracy. Earlier this was restricted only to Kerala state but has now spread to the Coastal district. Anti-national elements have joined hand in this love Jihad. In Love Jihad, Muslim men lure Hindu girls to convert them to Islam through marriage. Recently the Supreme Court directed the National Investigation Agency to investigate the alleged forced conversion of a Hindu woman to Islam for marriage in Kerala. The court described the wedding as a case of “love jihad”, a term right-wing groups use to allege the Islamic strategy of converting Hindu women through seduction, marriage, money or threat. Love Jihad is a dimension of terrorism; where they are being recruited for terrorist activities. Hindu parents and associations should be aware of Love Jihad and protect their children from other religions. If any such incident happens in their area, they should inform the local police station or our volunteers, he added.

Bajrang Dal leaders Sunil K R and Dinesh Mendon were also present in the press meet.
