HD Kumaraswamy to stay in his ‘lucky’ JP Nagar bungalow

BENGALURU: Chief minister-designate HD Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said he will not move into a government bungalow and will continue to stay at his residence in JP Nagar.

Kumaraswamy said that he has decided against using the government bungalow as an austerity measure and hoped his ministers will follow him. “I built my JP Nagar house 25 years ago and it has been lucky for me. I am going to stay there,” he added.

Kumaraswamy said that he did not do a U turn on his farm loan waiver promise.
He said doctors have advised him to take care of his health. “I feel happy and healthy being with people. So I will continue my village stays,” he said.
