Independence Day Cup Volleyball Tournament 2016

Oman: Muscat Mangalore Spikers ,in association with Muscat Sports Club, are all geared up to organise yet another Indoor Volleyball Tournament this yea, in tune with the celebration to mark the 70th Indian Independence Day.

Independence-Day-Cup-Volleyball-Tournament-2016 After the stupendous success of Mogaveers Cup Volleyball Tournament, a one of a kind, held last year, Muscat Mangalore Spikers, comprising of ardent sports enthusiasts, hailing from Coastal Karnataka, are all set to present a spectacular, action-packed, thrilling volleyball matches, with a total of ten teams participating from Dubai, AbuDhabi, Saudi Arabia, and Indian teams from Oman, and the Omani teams from Oman.

The daylong tournament will commence at 8:00 am on Friday 19th August 2016 at the Muscat Club Indoor Stadium, Wadi Kabir, with an inaugural function, to initiate the proceedings and will culminate at 10:00 pm with the closing ceremony and Prize distribution.

  1. Last year MMK had succeeded in taking the event to its pinnacle of success with meticulous planning and preparations. I do really hope that this year also it will be a grand success. Since it is coinciding with India’s Independence Day celebrations, I wish the organizers all the very best.

    As per the Invitation there is no team participating from Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi. It may be clarified.
