Male Body found in Madhwa Sarovar
Udupi: An unidentified male body was found in the Madhwa Sarovar at Sri Krishna Math on December 3.
According to the records of the deceased, he had registered his name in the lodge as Adarsh (39) from Vidyanagar, Shivamogga on December 2.
The fire service arrived at the spot to lift the body from the pond but they failed in their attempt since the body was in the bottom of the pond. Later a diving expert lifted the body from the pond.
The body was later shifted to the government hospital and authorities are waiting for family members to arrive to continue with the formalities for post mortem.
The Udupi Town police have registered a case and investigation is on. The police have requested the family members to contact the Udupi Town police.
