Mangaluru origin Alveera Pinto wins Runner-up in Mrs Global India
Mangalurean origin Alveera Pinto nee Fernandes from Mumbai has won the Mrs Global India 2016 Second runner-up title.
The event took place in Goa from March 9 to 13 March 2016. Deputy chief minister of Goa Francis was the chief guest. The participants were judged on the basis of rounds which included national costume, talent, fitness, personal interview, unique and floral photo shoot.
In the national costume round, Alveera represented Maharashtra by wearing a traditional Marathi Nauvari saree. She was selected in top 15.
After winning the title Alveera speaking to the media persons said, “Winning the title on a national level is a big achievement for me. I got to learn a lot from the mentors and trainers in these 5 days. I would like to thank my husband Charnel for supporting me to participate in this beauty pageant. Without his support, I would not have been able to get this title”.
