Mother-in-law Killed while Trying to Stop Fight between Daughter and son-in-law
Bantwal: A woman being killed while she intervened in the fight between her daughter and son-in-law was reported at Manchi here on May 14.
The deceased has been identified as Kusuma.
According to the police, Kusuma’s daughter and son-in-law Jayaprasad were involved in a fight. Kusuma intervened to stop the fight. In a fit of rage, Jayaprasad assaulted Kusuma with a wooden club. Kusuma collapsed and breathed her last due to severe injuries.
Jayaprasad was arrested by the Vittal police. A case has been registered in the Vittal police station.
