Mumbai: Kulala Sangha Dance Festival Gives Genuine Message to the Society – Suresh Bhandary

Mumbai: The 86 year old Kulala Sangha Mumbai organised a colourful dance festival which not only brought the youth of the community together but also conveyed good messages to the society.

The Kulala Dance Festival was held on 13 September at Viveshwarayya Sabhagrah, Matunga West, Mumbai and the packed audiences enjoyed all the moments of this festival. The event was presented by Socio-Economic Committee of the Sangha.

The events were inaugurated by Mohandas Paramahamsa Swamiji by lighting the lamp in the presence of Hon. president of Kulala Sangha Mumbai P K Salian, president Girish B Salian, president of Barke Friends Magalore Yajnesh Moolya, Chairman of Mogaveera Bank Sadanand Kotian, Vice Chairman Suresh Kanchan, AHAR President Adarsh Shetty, Harish Salian of Philips Company, Suchitra S Puthran Chairperson of Mogaveera Mahajana Seva Sangha, Bagwadi, Mahila Vibhag, Dramatist Dr. Bharat Kumar Polipu, Dr. Suresh Rao president BSKB Association, Mumbai and others.

More than 25 groups of 250 participants from all age groups across the country participated in the dance competition which was judged by Amita Jatin, Geeta Salian and Kshama R Bangera. The group dance competition was held for Classical, Folk dance, Western and Bollywood dances.

Dr. Shridhar Shetty, Principal of S.M. Shetty College, Powai, Mumbai spoke about the present education system. Social worker Ln. Jayaram K Moolya was felicitated on this occasion.

The concluding ceremony was held under the presidentship of Girish Salian who congratulated all the participants for proving their talents in this event.

In his speech, the Chief Guest Suresh Bhandary (Chairman of Manifold Co-op Credit Society) said that Kulala Sangha has organized a genuine programme to bring the youth together. “You should also participate in the Sangha’s other social activities and uplift the Sangha which has been built by the elders,” he said to the youth, adding that children’s talents are assets of their parents.

Guests of Honour Sanjeeva Bangera, Industrialist, Raju Mendon Vandse Chairman of MMSS, Bagwadi, Thane Office congratulated the participants.

Chairman of Socio-Economic Committee Umesh M Bangera welcomed the gathering. Journalist B. Dinesh Kulal briefed about the activities of the Sangha.
