Mumbai Student Studying in Moodbidri Goes Missing

Mangaluru: A student of Mumbai origin studying in a college in Moodbidri is reported to have gone missing since June 1.

Varun Salemath, hailing from Mumbai, had gone home on holidays on May 8. When classes were to resume, he boarded the Matsyagandha Express train in Mumbai on his way to Moodbidri on May 31.

When the train reached Mulki, other passengers saw him get down around 7-15 am on June 1. Thereafter, his whereabouts are not known.

He stands 161 cms tall, has fair complexion and speaks Kannada, English and Hindi. When last seen, he wore a half-sleeved green shirt and blue jeans.

A case has been registered in Mulki police station.
