Roshni Faculty Invited to Norway University
Mangaluru: Volda University College of Norway has invited Prof. Joselyn Lobo, Dean of BSW and Dr Rameela Shekhar, Dean of MSW, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, for the International Week (February 06 – 11, 2017) in Volda University. It may be noted that the School of Social Work has a MoU with Volda University whereby Norwegian students come to Roshni for Field Practicum every year.
Dr Rameela and Prof. Joselyn, apart from discussing present and future collaborations, will deliver lectures on mental health and social issues. They will also visit the University of Leuven, Limburg in Belgium and give guest lectures on social themes. During their trip, Dr Rameela and Prof. Joselyn will also attend the Global Alumni Meet of Roshni students in Dubai on February 18th.
In its Managing Council meeting held recently, Association of Mangalore University College Teachers – AMUCT – congratulated its former President Prof. Joselyn Lobo on his accomplishments.
