Taylor Swift bags four awards at MTV VMAs

Los Angeles, Aug 31 (IANS) The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards was a starry affair, with singer Taylor Swift raking in four awards.

Swift took home several of Sunday night’s biggest awards, including Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, winning for both “Bad blood” (featuring Kendrick Lamar) and “Blank space”, reports variety.com.

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars won Best Male Video for their “Uptown funk”. Other big winners include Nicki Minaj for Best Hip-Hop Video, Fetty Wap for the Artist To Watch, and Fall Out Boy for Best Rock Video.

Miley Cyrus hosted the festivities of the gala night, which began with a performance by Minaj, where she was joined by Swift, and Pharrell, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber and more also performed.
