Telikeda Barsolu Marks 6th Anniversary of Gammath Kalavider
UAE: To mark the sixth anniversary of Gammath Kalavider, a prominent organization in Dubai, staged ‘Telikeda Barsolu’, a Tulu stage play written by multi-talented artiste of Tulunadu Telikeda Bolli Devadas Kapikad, in association with Blueberry international events successfully at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai here on February 3.
In the jam-packed Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, the stage play Telikeda Barsolu, started with lighting of the traditional lamp by the members of the Gammath Kalaveder along with the sponsors.
Gammath Kalavider felicitated Telikeda Bolli Devadas Kapikad and his wife Sharmila Kapikad for their tremendous contribution in the field of Tulu stage play and movies. A noted music director Guru Bayar, Sampath Shetty, Surekha Sampath Shetty, Nithin Kumar and Shanthi Nithin Kumar were also felicitated by Gammath Kalaveder for their remarkable contribution for Telikeda Barsolu.
The entertainment programme began with melodious songs sung by Harish Sherigar. Telikeda Barsolu stage play was directed by Vishwanath Shetty was brilliantly supported by artistes Chidanand Poojary, Suvarna Sathish Poojary, Dony Correa, Deepak S P, Rajesh Kuthar, Sunil Suvarna, Sandeep Barke, Monappa Poojary, Jesh Bayar, Ramesh Suvarna, Lavina Fernandes, Girish Kumar, Deepthi Dilraj and Janet Sequeira.
Kishore Gatty, one of the well-known make-up artists supported all the artistes in make–up. The comedy and family oriented stage play was enjoyed by jam-packed audience and all the artistes were appreciated widely by the audience for their matured acting skills and efforts.
Meantime, Telikeda Bolli Devadas Kapikad appreciated Gammath Kalavider for their brilliant performance and acting skills and requested all the drama lovers to extend their support in future.
Suvarna Sathish Poojary welcomed the gathering, Rajesh Kuthar and Sampath Shetty compered the programme very systematically. Chitra Prasanna Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
