Mangaluru: The CCB police arrested 11 persons while they were involved in gambling at a Flat in Pumpwell here on April 7.

The arrested have been identified as Arun Bhandary, Vishwanath, Haneef, Mohandas, Janardhan Baby, Krishna Murthy Ithal, Mark Pinto, Gaurish, Prashanth, Samshuddin and Abubacker.

On April 7, on getting reliable information about the gambling activities in a Flat at Shakti Apartments in Pumpwell, the CCB police raided the flat and arrested 11 persons who were involved in gambling.  The police seized Rs 66,070/ cash, mobile phones, and playing cards used for gambling.

The accused have been handed over to the Kankanady Town Police for further investigation.

The operation was carried out by the CCB police Inspector Shantharam, PSI Shyam Sundar, Kabbal Raj, and team.
