20-year-old Engineering Student Commits Suicide
Mangaluru: A 20-year-old engineering student committed suicide by jumping from the 6th floor at Suratkal here on November 17.
The deceased has been identified as Anand Pathak (20) a native of Maharastra.
As per the complaint lodged by the HOD of NITK Mechanical Engineering Department Narendranath S, at around 2:30 pm, third-year Mechanical Engineering student Anand Pathak jumped from the 6th Floor window of the mechanical department building located within NITK college campus and committed suicide.
Suratkal police visited the spot for further investigations. A case has been registered in the Suratkal police station.
