Beltangady: A 21-year-old bride-to-be died in mysterious circumstances at Halepete Beltangady here on March 30.
The deceased has been identified as Vinuta (21), a resident of Halepete.
According to police, on March 30, Vinuta complained about stomach pain. Her marriage was fixed with Pratap on March 31. Vinuta was rushed to the hospital but she breathed her last in the hospital.
The reason for sudden death will be known only after receiving the post mortem report.
Beltangady police have registered a case and investigation is on.
