23-year-old Joel D’Souza feared Drowned in Netravati River
Mangaluru: A 23-year-old youth who went for fishing along with his other three friends is feared drowned in the Netravati River here on March 25.
The missing youth has been identified as Joel D’Souza (23) from Moodbidri.
A group of four youth had gone for fishing near the Netravati bridge. While they were fishing Joel suddenly lost balance and drowned.
As soon as the locals were informed they tried their best to find Joel but without success. The fire brigade personnel have reached the spot and with the help of an inflatable boat along with the locals are searching for the missing youth.
