23-year-old Youth Killed in Road Mishap at Kaup
Udupi: A 23-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding government Jeep near the community Hall, Koppalangadi under Kaup Police Station limits on Tuesday, October 17.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Alias Rajesh (23) a resident of Kolachuru near Nandikooru
According to the police, Rajesh was walking on road when the Karnataka Fisheries Board Jeep hit him. Rajesh who sustained serious head injuries died on the spot. It is learnt that Rajesh was mentally unstable since the last 3 months.
The Body has been sent for post-mortem
The Kaup Police have registered a case.
