25 passengers injured as bus overturns at Agumbe
Shimoga/Udupi: As many as 25 passengers were injured when the bus, by which they were travelling, overturned after hitting a car at Megralli in Agumbe Police Station limits on Thursday, September 1.
According to the initial reports, the Shri Durgamba bus was plying from Shimoga to Kundapur carrying passengers. While the bus was nearing Megralli, a Swift Desire Car which coming from opposite direction hit the bus. The Driver while applying sudden brakes, lost control and the bus overturned.
Many passengers, who reportedly had serious injuries, were rushed to the nearby hospital.
The Agumbe Police rushed to the spot and have registered a case.
