26-year-old Savitha dies after falling into well
Belthangady: A 26-year-old bride-to-be accidentally fell into a well and died at Perla in Ujire here, on July 15.
The deceased has been identified as Savitha (26), a resident of Ujire. She was an employee of Belthangady Mahila Santvana Kendra.
According to sources, Savitha’s marriage was fixed and she was supposed to get married next month. On July 15, while Savitha was drawing water from the well, she accidentally slipped and fell into it.
The fire brigade was informed. They reached the spot and lifted the body from the well.
A case has been registered in the Belthangady police station.
