26-year-old Srinivas Falls into Well, Dies
Puttur: A 26-year-old man fell into a well while he was cleaning the area near it, at Kemminje Darbe here, on July 6.
The deceased has been identified as Srinivas (26), a resident of Korangu House, Kemminje Grama Darbe, Puttur.
According to the complainant, Veerappa, on July 6 at around noon, Srinivas was cleaning the area near the well. After sometime, Veerappa could not see Srinivas around. He started searching for Srinivas and found his body in the well.
It is suspected that while cleaning, Srinivas may have slipped and fell into the well. Since he was unable to swim, he drowned and died.
A case has been registered in the Puttur town police station under UDR 25/2016, 174 CPRS.
