28-year-old Missing Youth Found Dead in Maravoor Dam
Moodbidri: A 28-year-old youth who was missing from one week, was found dead at the Maravoor dam on August 17.
Sudharshan Jain (28) was missing since August 11 from Moodbidri and a missing person’s case was filed in the Moodbidri police station.
Sudharshan was working in a garment shop in Moodbidri. On August 11, after finishing his work in the night he had gone along with his brother Sudheer Jain on his motorbike. As they reached near the house, there was a car parked there in which there was Sudheer’s friend Sandeep and other two persons.
It is suspected that Sandeep and his friends kidnapped Sudharshan and stabbed him. Later they strangulated him with a rope and threw him into the Phalguni river.
On August 17, Sudharshan’s body was found in the Maravoor dam. It is also suspected that he was murdered and his body was later thrown into the river.
A case has been filed in the Moodbidri police station and the investigation is on.
