28-year-old Rider Dies after Truck Hits Two-wheeler in Gangolli
Kundapur: A 28-year-old person was killed when his two-wheeler was hit by a truck from behind on the Gangolli Main Road on Wednesday, January 2.
The deceased has been identified as Gururaj Poojary (28) a resident of Gangolli Dakanhitlu.
According to the police, the deceased was on his way to Trasi from Gangolli. A truck which was moving on the same route hit his motorbike. Gururaj Poojary lost control over the motorbike and fell on the road. Seriously injured Gururaj was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last without responding to treatment.
Gururaj was working in a Hotel in Bengaluru and had come down to his native place 10 days ago on leave.
A case had been registered in the Gangolli Police Station and investigations are on.
