3 Ways to Take Productive Breaks at Work

If you’re a very career-driven person, you probably want to be productive from the moment you clock in to work in the morning to the moment you clock out of an evening. Your breaks must allow you to detach from your work, they must give you space to evaluate all that you’ve done, and they must provide you with the rest you need to prepare for what is yet to come. Shut off your brain

If you have a job that is mentally draining, especially, you should be sure to shut off your brain during your breaks. Completely shutting down your thoughts will allow you to detach from your daily stresses and worries, and in turn, this will help to re-align your focus in preparation for your return to your workstation.

Depending on what it is you enjoy doing, shutting off your brain could involve you doing any number of things. You could do this by reading a book with a hot beverage by your side or go for a walk.
