33-year-old man Killed in Pick-up-bike collision
Kundapur: A 33-year-old man died in a road accident at Bijur here on October 25.
The deceased has been identified as Guru Poojary (33), a resident of Yadthare, Byndoor.
According to sources, Guru was on his way to the city on his bike, at Bijur, while he was trying to overtake a bus a pickup collided head-on into his motorbike. Guru died on the spot due to severe head injuries.
Traffic was disrupted for a while on the NH 66 due to the accident. The Byndoor police reached the spot and cleared the traffic.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor police station.
