404 Persons Test Positive and 3 Die of COVID-19 in DK on Sept 13
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 404 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and 3 persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on September 13.
Out of the 404 positive cases, 111 persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts, 192 persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), 20 persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of 81 others.
Out of the 404 cases tested positive, 212 persons are from Mangaluru, 60 from Bantwal, 46 from Puttur, 27 from Sullia, 39 from Belthangady, and 20 from other districts.
Meanwhile, 174 persons were also discharged from the hospital and COVID Care Centre after complete recovery.
So far 17363 positive cases have been reported in the district and 442 of them have died of the disease. At present, there are 3934 active cases in the district.
