41-year-old Woman Falls to Death From 5th Floor in Kundapur
Kundapur: In a tragic incident at Old Gitanjali Talkies, a woman lost her life after accidentally falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building.
The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi Pratap Naik (41), wife of Lakshmi Pratap from Kundapur.
According to the police, Lakshmi had gone to collect the coconuts left to dry on the floor of the flat when she accidentally stepped on a fibre sheet, causing it to collapse resulting in her fall to the second floor. Unfortunately, she died on the spot due to severe head injuries. The deceased is survived by her husband and two sons.
The Kundapur town police station has registered a case and further investigation is on.
