5 City PUC Students of Kerala Origin Arrested in Bikes Theft

Mangaluru: One would ask, if these five youth from Kerala came to Mangaluru to excel in academics/studies, or they came to excel in Stealing? According to reports from Mangaluru City Police, they were successful in nabbing a gang of eight persons, among which were five PUC students aged between 16-17. The police who had been receiving various complaints about theft of two-wheelers going on in town, were on the verge of nabbing the culprits sooner or later- and finally they mission was accomplished, when they arrested these bike thieves.

The police have already confiscated three motor bikes and a car from these arrested persons, but they are yet to seize more stolen vehicles from these culprits. As per the police, all these vehicles were stolen from parked places during the period of last three months. The police said that the thieves had learned the knack of stealing bikes and other vehicles by following the clips on a YouTube video.

The arrests were made under the leadership of Police Inspector, Yogish, with guidance from Vipul Kumar- the City Police Commissioner, along with other Deputy Commissioners of Police and Assistant Commissioner of police. More investigations will continue after the arrest of these culprits.
