55-year-old man found Hanging with Hands Tied, Murder Suspected
Udupi: A 55-year old male body was found in a plantation area on Friday, at Edmer near Moodubelle in a hanging position.
The deceased has been identified as Martin (55) a resident of Edmer, Moodubelle.
According to sources, locals who found the hanging body informed the Shirva Police. Police personnel inspected the spot and sent the body for post mortem to the Government Hospital.
The locals suspect that Martin a well-known person in Edmer area might have been murdered for some reason. Police are waiting for the post mortem report.
The Shirva Police have registered a case and investigation is on.
