55-year-old man killed in Hit and Run Case at Tallur
Kundapur: A 55-year-old man was killed in a hit and run incident on NH 66 near Tallur under the Kundapur Police Station limits on September 2.
The deceased has been identified as Seetharam Shetty (55), a resident of Tallur. He was running a shop in Kundapur.
According to the sources, Seetharam Shetty was returning home on his two-wheeler after work. At Tallur, an unidentified vehicle collided into his two-wheeler and fled from the spot. Seetharam who sustained severe injuries was rushed to the hospital, but he breathed his last on the way.
Seetharam Shetty is survived by his wife and a daughter. A case has been registered in the Kundapur Traffic Police Station.
