65-year-old man from Neermarga Found Dead in Bikkarnakatta
Mangaluru: A 65-year-old man was found dead near Bikkarnakatta bus stand here on November 15.
The deceased has been identified as Claud D’Souza (65) from Neermarga.
According to the police, on November 15 morning Claud had gone to Hampankatta and never returned home. At 5:40 pm the police were informed about a dead body near the Bikkarnakatta bus stand.
The Kadri police reached the spot and sent the body to the government hospital for post-mortem.
It is learnt that Claud was a heavy drinker and may have died due to head injuries sustained due to a fall.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in the Mangaluru East police station.
