72-year-old Farmer Electrocuted While Working in Field
Brahmavar: A 72-year-old farmer was electrocuted after getting in contact with a high tension wire that had snapped at Cherkadi under the Brahmavar Police Station limits on Thursday, July 9.
The deceased has been identified as Sadhu (72) a resident of Cherkadi, Brahmavar.
According to Raghavendra PSI Brahmavar, Sadhu had gone to his field to work on Thursday, July 9, afternoon. He was not aware that an overhead high tension wire had snapped and was lying in his field. He accidentally came in contact with the live wire and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Brahmavar Police Station and investigation is on.
