8-year-old girl Gang Rape and Murder, NSUI Holds Candle Light Vigil

Mangaluru: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) held a candlelight vigil in front of the Gandhi statue at Lalbagh here on April 13 against the brutal gang rape and murder of eight-year-old girl in Kashmir.

Members of the NSUI gathered in front of the Gandhi statue with candles in their hands and shouted slogans to provide justice to 8-year-old  girl in Kathua.

Addressing the protesters president of NSUI Abdullah Binnu said, “The victim was kidnapped and raped in a Temple for three days by men including a police constable. The police had also received bribe to hide this heinous crime. Later her body was found in the forest on January 17 near Kathua. But Prime minister Narendra Modi nor the BJP leaders did not utter a word against the heinous crime. Prime minister Modi has launched the “Beti bachao beti padhao” scheme but there is no any safety for Beti’s. This heinous crime has happened in Kashmir when Modi is leading the country, girls especially small kids are not safe in our country, the rape and murder of 8-year-old girl is an example.”

Binnu further said, “In Karnataka, we have a very good government which has taken all the measures for the safety of girls and women. We want Siddaramaiah to be our next CM and Rahul Gandhi to be the prime minister of our country for total development, safety and security for all, especially girls and women.”

NSUI Secretary Stacy said, “An 8-year-old girl was gang-raped and murdered which is a very bad incident. The government has not taken any action. She was a very small child we all condemn this heinous crime. It happened in Kashmir but we raise our voice against the incident. We want a government which can provide safety for girls and women. Under the present NDA government girls are not safe. We want a good government and Rahul Gandhi is the only person who can make this country safe for girls to live. We want Rahul Gandhi as our prime minister.”

NSUI general secretary Savad Sullia, Auf, Shaj, Reema, Gurudath and others were also present.

  1. The Prime Minister is not responsible for crimes committed by Hindus and that too in a temple! Nor is BJP party responsible.

The Law will find the culprits, and pray they be hanged in public so that other criminals may learn of consequences.

It’s sad that certain Indian nationals can stoop down to rape and murder, not even sparing children.

God’s wrath will certainly befall on the culprits and their generation.

  2. Rubbish. Politically motivated. Modi is taking action against culprits irrespective their status. We should fight against culprits than against Modi who is doing wonderful job for India despite fake media. God bless.
