Karkala: Bhoja Bhandary (80), hailing from Doolabettu in Peruvaje and employed in the BJP’s town office, ended his life by hanging himself around Mar 21 afternoon.
He is suspected to have committed the act when he was alone. When visitors came to the office, he was found hanging from the noose tied to the steel rods of the window by the side.
He had not shown any signs that could have led to his drastic decision. Hence the reason for the suicide is not known.
A case has been registered in the town police station.
