Adequate Funds Released for Supplying Drinking Water – Kagodu Thimmappa

Manipal: “The Village Accountants and the Panchayat Development Officials should submit reports on drinking water on daily basis to the Revenue Department through the Tahsildar”, said Minister for Revenue Kagodu Thimmappa during his review of the revenue department at the Deputy Commissioners Office, Rajathadri, Manipal here on April 23.

“Adequate funds have been released to supply drinking water. Officials should effectively utilize the funds to supply drinking water. The pending files under 94C and 94 CC should be efficiently processed. Title deeds under 94C and 94CC should be given to the eligible beneficiaries. Private surveyors holding license should be utilized by the Tahsildars to rectify errors in the RTC”, said Kagodu Thimmappa.

He further said, “The officials should be engaged in correspondence with the Forest Department in processing files related to the deemed forest. The legal remedies in the provisions formulated in the law should be followed. The rules are to be formulated on surveying 94 CC land in the CMC, Town Panchayat and Corporation limits. The records on the 94 CC and 94 C should be for processing title deeds”, he added.

District Minister in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, Assistant Commissioner Shilpa Nag, ADC Anuradha and Tahsildars were present.
