Adriel Miranda & Miss Aiswarya S are Winners of Mangaluru Diocese ‘Happy Face Photo Contest’ as part of Campaign against Suicide
Mangaluru: As the part of Year of Life-2020 – Mangaluru Diocese, the Laudato Si Committee conducted ‘Happy Face Photo contest for the public. A Good number of participants above the age of 12 entered the contest. But due to the lockdown in the country we could not publish the results on time.

Happy Face Photo Contest ( Male category) : Adriel Savio Miranda, Bejai Anegundi Road Mangaluru
Happy Face Photo Contest ( Female Category) : Miss Aishwarya S., Yekkur, Mangaluru
The winners will receive cash prize of Rs 10000/- each. “Human Life is Precious, Care and Protect It” was the theme of year of life-2020.
Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangaluru proclaimed the year of life in January 2020, and the same was inaugurated in Parishes of Mangaluru diocese with various activities like Prayer, Yellow Ribbon Movement, Handbills to create awareness about the evil of Suicide, the Pledge, Workshop and Seminars on Protection of Human Life, Counseling, and Toll Free Helpline support number to prevent Suicides.
