Alva’s IET Holds Five-day workshop on Software Applications in Mechanical Engineering
Moodbidri: Five-day workshop on “Software Applications in Mechanical Engineering” organized by Mechanical Department of Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar was inaugurated on 22nd January.
The workshop was inaugurated by Kiran S Hubballi, CEO, FluidMech, Bengaluru. Speaking on the occasion, he said recently technological trends should motivate mechanical engineers. He called upon young engineers to have the innovative bent of mind to excel in life.
Presiding over the programme, Principal, Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar, Dr Peter Fernandes stressed on the need to undergo training programmes and workshops. He said the research will always help mechanical engineers to improve their credentials and develop themselves into global players.
The programme was compered by Prof Pramod. Head of the Department Prof K V Suresh welcomed the gathering. PROF Kiran introduced the Chief Guest while Prof G Vaggar delivered the vote of thanks.
A total of 15 technical sessions have been arranged during the course of five days.
