‘Alva’s Nudisiri -2016’ from November 18 – Mohan Alva
Mangaluru: “The national-level convention “Alva’s Nudisiri – 2016″, will be held from November 18 to 20 at the Ratnakarvarni Stage, at Sundari Anand Alva campus”, said the chairman of the Alva’s Educational conglomerate of Moodbidri, Dr Mohan Alva, in a press meet held at the Press Club, Urwa here on September 28.
Renowned Kannada litterateur Dr Jayanth Kaikini will be inaugurating the three-day cultural convention. Ministers and MLAs will also be present for the inaugural ceremony.
Dr B N Sumitrabai will preside over the function. The theme of the three-day cultural convention will be “Karnataka – Nalegala Nirmana”.
Mohan Alva also said that free food and accommodation will be provided to students who are willing to take part in the programme. Those who want to be present at the convention will be charged Rs 100 as representation fee and will be provided with free food and accommodation.
Convener of Alva’s Nudisiri – 2016, Venugopal Shetty was also present.
