Another accused Arrested in Target Group Illyas murder case
Mangaluru: The Pandeshwar police have arrested another youth on April 17 in connection with the murder of Target Ilyas at Mahakalipadpu.
The arrested has been identified as Ummer Nawaf alias Nawaf alias Maya (25) from Ullal.
On January 13, 2018, the accused had barged into the house of Target Group Illyas at Jeppu Kudpadi and hacked him to death. In this connection, a case was registered in the Mangaluru South police station.
The police have already arrested Dawood, Mohammed Sameer alias Sameer, Mohammed Nasir alias Nachi, Riyaz alias Riya and Nameer Hazam, all are now in Judicial custody.
The police arrested Nawaf on April 17 and seized a motorcycle and two machetes from his possession. Nawaf is involved in murder, theft, extortion, kidnap and 7 cases have been registered in the Ullal and Manjeshwar police stations.
