Expressing her support for the diabetes awareness program of GMU, Diana remarked that the control of diabetes was a serious challenge the world over. “My endeavour is to empower people struggling with diabetes to take control of their lives by lifestyle modification, nutrition management and regular exercise. It is important to watch out for the symptoms of diabetes and have regular medical check-ups. More importantly, one has to engage in regular physical activity to keep diabetes at bay. Eating healthy and keeping the calories in check are equally vital,” she said. She also lauded the efforts of GMU in promoting health awareness.
