Arrest of Zakir, Ullal police Stop PFI Activists from Staging Protest
Mangaluru: The Ullal police stopped the PFI activists from staging a protest on September 2, in front if the police station for arresting Zakir for posting messages and spreading communal hatred through social media on September 1.
On September 1, Zakir Ullal was arrested by the police for posting messages and spreading communal hatred through WhatsApp.
On September 2, PFI activists gathered in front of the Ullal police station and demanded to release Zakir. The Ullal police did not permit the activists to protest and asked them to disburse.
