Auditory Processing Awareness Day at KMC Hospital Attavar

Mangaluru: The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Kasturba Medical College Hospital, Attavar Mangalore is observing Auditory Processing Disorders Awareness day on 4th April 2017.

This day is dedicated to people with hearing/listening problems and will address the needs of those who use hearing aids and cochlear implants. This year’s move is to orient the beneficiaries on auditory processing difficulty and listening problems. The day also is dedicated to help the hearing aid users and cochlear implantees on the care and maintenance aspects so that they can preserve the instruments flawless.

The deliberations are planned on 4th April 2017, between 9.30 am to 12 noon at Sushrutha Hall II Floor, KMC Hospital Attavar. Renowned national experts will be handling the sessions.

Medical Superintendent KMC Hospital Attavar has requested the beneficiaries to avail the benefits of this Initiative.
