Auto Driver Arrested for Creating Ruckus At Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru: An Auto driver was arrested for creating a ruckus in the government hospital here, late night on July 5.

The arrested has been identified as Vinod Poojary (38), a resident of Monkey Stand, Mangaladevi.

According to the police, They were informed about a man being drunk and creating problems near Wine Gate, in Balmatta. The Pandeshwar police arrived at the spot and took Vinod into custody.

Following protocols, Vinod was taken to the Government Wenlock hospital for a test. During the test, Vinod was upset and broke the window panes and created a ruckus in the hospital. The duty doctor, nurses and other staff out of fear ran out from the hospital.

Later, the Pandeshwar police inspector (in-charge) Shanthram Kundar and team brought him under control. They arrested and shifted him to the Pandeshwar police station.

Pandeshwar police have registered a case against Vinod.
