Sources reveal that In the Turkish province of Izmir, one very smart stray dog has discovered the secret to a free back rub. A stray German shepherd mix named Linda visits an automatic car wash multiple times a week, according to a Turkey Daily News. And there are no humans required. She knows to line up as soon as it starts.
Twitter user Clint Falin had shared this viral video on the Internet. “Linda, a stray dog in Turkey, comes to the same car wash a couple times a week to use the automatic petting machine.”, he wrote. Reading up on these dogs in Turkey is pretty interesting. “Seems like they have a lot of neighborhood/village dogs, and many of them are treated well.”, he tweeted. “The ring in her ear means that she’s a stray and has been spayed by the local shelter. The guy in the video talks about her affectionately, they’re probably taking care of her.”, someone commented.
The footage of a stray dog using an automatic car wash to clean itself while having a little bit of fun went viral among Turkish social media users. The footage captured by a person with a cellphone shows the dog waiting for the automatic brushes to move to clean a minibus. In the video, Linda is shown waiting patiently for a car to go through the automated car wash at a local gas station. The white car is covered in soap and as it progresses through the machine, it’s wiped clean by three fluffy rollers. Linda knows exactly when it’s her turn, and adjusts her body so that the yellow and red brush hits just the right spot on her back.
Linda then moves under the brush, cleaning different parts of its body.
Footage of Linda’s peculiar habit surfaced on social media in Turkey, and since being posted to Twitter by user @clintfalin, the dog is well on her way to receiving worldwide attention.
